School-Based Occupational Therapist

Department: Special Education

Salary: $45- $50/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced school-based occupational therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents with disabilities, and will be able to provide individualized therapy services in a school setting.
Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess students' functional skills and develop treatment plans to address their specific needs
• Implement therapy interventions in the classroom, at home, and in the community
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide a coordinated approach to intervention
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice occupational therapy
• Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
