Job Description

Visa Direct is a payment service that allows clients (sending and receiving financial institutions, processors, merchants, and service providers) to facilitate money movement between Cards, Bank Accounts and Wallets around the world using faster payments technology. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfers, Business to Consumer (e.g., gig economy payouts), funds disbursement (e.g., insurance claim disbursements), and more. The push payments market is estimated to be more than 90 Trillion of payment volume globally.

The Visa Direct Market Intelligence & GTM Analyst is part of the Visa Direct global team and is a key contributor to defining strategies that allow Visa Direct to compete in specific market landscapes. He/she provides thought leadership, market intelligence, data analysis, critical thinking and drives global initiatives that allows Visa Direct to complete globally.

Reporting to the Market Intelligence & Go-to-Market Senior Director, this role will work with diverse teams across geographies and functions to evaluate and define the best initiatives tailored to the digital banks, apps and wallets, online brokerage companies, crypto platforms, financial institutions, and 3rd party payment technology providers of each market. This role will be expected to help develop both short- and long-term strategies, helping estimate business opportunities, and supporting the development of go-to-market strategies to launch and scale Visa Direct solutions globally that address specific market conditions.

Responsibilities:

Support the development of strategic plans, business cases and go-to-market strategies for key products and markets. Support the identification and quantification of potential revenue and business opportunities that can accelerate the time-to-market and can address specific market needs Lead specific global initiatives that can address pan-regional challenges Manage thought leadership initiatives to help the broader team stay up to speed with the latest news and industry trends related to real time payments Collaborate with team members and ensure they are delivering on their targets effectively and in partnership with Visa's internal teams. Develop a functional understanding of Visa's business model, its technology, digital assets/capabilities, new payment technologies, and economic models. Collaborate closely with other global and regional teams to provide thought leadership, research, industry analysis and other initiatives that help Visa Direct expand globally.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
* 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications
* 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
* Minimum 2 years of experience in internal or external consulting roles
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
* Expert level PowerPoint and advanced level Excel skills
* Critical thinker, strong organization skills, highly engaged and detail oriented
* Basic understanding of developing frameworks, concepts and new business models is required. Knowledge or expertise is strongly preferred
* Experience in executing consulting projects focused on market insights, thought leadership or business assessments.
* Knowledge in global money movement payment flows across payment types (card, account, wallet)
* Skilled in the knowledge of various payment technologies and trends in new payment globally
* Strong team player, self-motivated and able to work independently, innovative thinker
* Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed global organization and drive results, ensuring that milestones are adhered to and risks to the project are called out early
* Aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
* Process oriented, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal teamwork and external products brought to market
* Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and nimble, while also able to navigate a globally matrixed environment
* Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 96,600.00 to 123,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
