We are seeking a skilled Med Surg Registered Nursefor a 13-week contract position in Wellsville, NY. As a Med Surg RN, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in the medical-surgical unit. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitor patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment, taking prompt action as necessary.
• Administer treatments and procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of recent, related experience as a Med Surg RN.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
