Software Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Software Engineer with aerospace or aviation experience for the development and maintenance of applications related to propeller systems design, testing, and FAA certification.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or electrical engineering

• 5-10 years of experience in software application development

• Must have aerospace or aviation industry experience

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in LabWindows/CVI software

• Programming skills in C, C++, or C#

• Experience with lab instrumentation (strain gages, thermocouples, RTDs, telemetry systems)

• Ability to develop GUI designs effectively

• Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings and engineering schematics

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain in-house software applications following coding standards and proper documentation

• Support engineering test lab personnel with test data acquisition and analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop custom software solutions

• Embrace a wide range of software application types for new solution development

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $30.00 to $50.00 per hour
