Internship- Corporate Roles

We encourage rising seniors to join our Corporate Internship Program this summer. Deep dive into a key area of the business and learn from experts in the field: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Treasury, Tax, HR Generalist, People Strategy & Analytics, or Learning & Development. At successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to apply and participate in the Future Builders Program, full time in Miami, FL. We encourage all incoming Interns to understand Lennar and our Corporate roles through exceptional mentorship and leadership efforts.



Responsibilities

Overview of Internship Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Intern Program

The Talent Acquisition Intern will be instrumental in enhancing and optimizing various facets of the recruitment process. Their main responsibilities will be helping Lennar identify and attract top talent, strengthening the brand's presence on college campuses, streamlining the recruitment processes, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Talent Management Intern Program

The Talent Management intern will play a crucial part in helping to run the internship program, ensuring its success and measuring engagement along the way. The ideal candidate should have a passion for talent development, strong organizational skills, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive internship experience, while still enjoying and learning from the program.

The intern will help with onboarding and general orientation events throughout the early stages of the internship. There will also be opportunities to help with engagement and development of the intern cohort during their 10-week experience; facilitation experience is a positive! Understanding performance management, goal setting, and tracking KPIs are important as the intern will help keep the other interns in the know. The intern should collect feedback from interns and stakeholders to evaluate program effectiveness. As one of the points of contact for interns, the candidate will be addressing queries/concerns and then bubbling them up to the program managers, as needed. The intern should have the ability to help with coordination and ideation of social events and activities for interns to foster camaraderie. Finally, the intern should be able to help implement recognition programs to acknowledge outstanding intern contributions. There may be additional opportunities to dabble in other areas within Talent Experience, such as performance management and leadership development!

Treasury Intern Program

The Treasury Internship will be divided between two interns: One focused in our Cash Management/Corporate Card department and one in our Collateral Services.

The Corporate Card intern will follow up with Lennar Associate spending, ensuring that we are utilizing the right payment method across divisions and regions nationwide and reconcile databases between banks and our company.

The Collateral Services intern will work on digitizing all of our systems, build out banking templates, and conduct legal research in order to pull crucial agreements together.

Tax Intern Program

The Tax Internship will begin with a foundation of preparing our summer tax interns, but will also have exposure to different software and functions of the tax department. They will need to understand the organization's needs and expectations in order to draft memos, compute estimated payments, and undergo tax provisional work to control risks to the business.

Human Resources Intern Program

The Human Resources (HR) intern will support Lennar Associates with various tasks, such as onboarding of new associates, maintaining up-to-date employee records, and providing support throughout other Human Resource teams. This position will have exposure to various HR projects and functions and build a foundation for a successful career in HR.

People Strategy & Analytics Intern Program

The People Strategy & Analytics Intern sits on the Associate Experience team and will focus on identifying, designing, and delivering an Associate Experience improvement project from beginning to end, with the latter half of the internship focused on project launch. The ideal candidate will have a passion for optimizing data and consulting on behalf of the HR department.

Learning & Development Intern Program

The Learning & Development department will have two interns split between Content & Development and Analytics & Reporting. Responsibilities may vary between positions, but interns will work on reviewing, assessing, and developing the Learning website, evaluating our current training programs, conducting a learning needs assessment, and identifying ROI for current projects.

  • Studying at a 4-year college or University currently as a junior.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Understanding of business and management principles.
  • Thorough understanding of technology used in the company.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
