We are partnering with a well-respected client to find a talented Human Resource Generalist to come aboard a high performing team. The main focus of the HR Generalist will involve completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. Main responsibilities include comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees. How you will make an impact


•           Oversees benefit programs include but not limited to: medical/dental, income protection, short-term disability, long-term disability, workers' compensation, leave of absence.

•           Assist with processing weekly payroll, maintain time and attendance in Paychex, resolve discrepancies, and maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

•           Review enrollment forms for accuracy and coordinates enrollment with third-party administrator.

•           Coordinates health, life and disability insurance enrollments and communicates with service providers concerning routine administration of programs.

•           Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees

•           Distribute weekly the checks accordingly.

•           Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

•           Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion and ensures proper approvals. Records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.

•           Prepares paperwork required to place employees on payroll and establishes personnel file.

•           Acts as a resource for Facility Payroll/HR contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits and HR policies and regulations.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • H2A experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR
  • Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations required.
  • 2-5 years of HR experience and payroll experience
  • Understanding and experience processing I9 requests
