The Department of Human Services (DHS), Norristown State Hospital, is actively seeking a Utility Plant Operator 2. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and inspection of the boiler plant installation at the hospital. You will operate all boilers and associated machinery in a safe, reliable and efficient manner and make repairs as necessary. You will also chemically treat feed water and regenerate the water softeners; keep regular records of temperatures, pressures and operating conditions; and train other employees in the safe operation of the plant and associated machinery. Additionally, you will be required to participate in all asbestos training and medical monitoring programs.
