Job Description: Leasing Consultant, St. George

PEG Property Group is a growing company headquartered in beautiful Provo, Utah. We specialize in the management of multi-family and commercial properties. This is a full-time position that is responsible for successful marketing, leasing, and retention in their assigned communities.

Required Skills and Experience: To be considered for this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate 5 years of hands-on property management experience, including marketing and financial management, including the following:

  • Initiative in sales and marketing techniques
  • Property social media, reputation management and satisfaction ratings
  • Managing waitlists, showings, applications, resident interviews, agreements, pre-inspections, move-ins, resident relations, vacancies, and renewals
  • Efficiently update and maintain market survey and marketing action reports
  • Manage quality control of data in our property management software
  • Improve and/or maintain occupancy levels to exceed budget projections
  • Ability to generate reports and explain leasing status efforts and accomplishments
  • Maintaining compliance to all applicable laws, codes, etc.

Additional knowledge/experience:

  • Expert in Microsoft Office applications, Yardi
  • Superb written and verbal skills
  • 2 years of housing marketing and leasing experience
  • Recent Fair Housing and industry training

Physical Characteristics

The position requires the following:

  • 80% office work (meetings, phone, computer, etc.)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable for company vehicles.
  • Standard vision, with or without corrective eyewear.
  • Standard hearing, with or without a hearing aid.
  • Ability to climb one flight of stairs and the ability to walk a half mile per property, approximately once per week.
