BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for an Facility Manager to work for an Orange County area medical device company.
Salary: $70-95k
Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Internal Stakeholders, Suppliers and Contractors by communicating priorities and collaborating on solving problems.
- Make recommendations for Suppliers, manage to company standards and guidelines and discharge if not meeting service level agreement.
- Manage inspections, complaints, requests, and new implementations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage cleaning crew of two.
- Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
- Performing routine, hands on maintenance on facilities as needed.
- Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside Suppliers.
- Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with Human Resources and security system vendors.
- Track, report on and make recommendations to reduce overall cost of facility related expenditures.
- Assist with other responsibilities and/or projects as the need arises.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant facilities management experience, preferably in an FDA Regulated Manufacturing Facility, or advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing/working on electrical and mechanical systems (3 Phase Electrical power, air conditioning, clean room infrastructure)
- Experience with electrical panels, circuit breakers, fuses, wiring.
- Proficiency with repair tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, suppliers, and team members.
- Great time management, organization, and prioritization abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and on occasion move and lift heavy equipment safely. Comfortable with standing or walking for extended periods of time.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PP) and applicable mechanical systems software.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate and schedule project activities.
- Ability to read blueprints for mechanical and electrical designs.
- Ability to read factory floor plan and coordinate work for a team (internal or external resources) based on a drawing.
