Pool Technician/ Jr. Tribal Facilities Maintenance Worker

The ideal candidate for this position must have experience in pool care, maintenance, and repair. In addition, the candidate should have experience in the facilities/maintenance department. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining pool filters, pumps, and circulation systems.
• Testing water quality and adjusting chemical levels to ensure safety and clarity.
• Repairing and replacing pool equipment such as heaters, pumps, motors, lights, and other mechanical systems.
• Performing routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Providing accurate estimates when needed for pool repairs.
• Following proper procedures for handling and storing hazardous materials and chemicals used in pool maintenance.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Conducting regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.

The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Work Experience

At least three years of experience in pool care, maintenance, and repair is required. This includes an in-depth understanding of pool systems and repairs, including pumps, filters, heaters, and other mechanical components. Experience with facilities maintenance.

Education Requirements/Licenses & Certification

Vocational training in pool maintenance and repair is required. HVAC, plumbing or related technical fields (Preferred)

Must have a valid driver's license.
