TITLE: Club Director

DEPARTMENT: Programs

SUPERVISOR: Regional Director

STATUS: Full-time, Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

Directs/manages overall daily operations of the designated Clubhouse with a primary focus on programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations and membership administration.

key roles & essential job Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage Club programs, activities and services that prepare youth for success and that create a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
  • Ensure a healthy and safe environment, ensuring facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate Club overall programs, services, and activities, to ensure they meet stated objectives and member needs and interests. Compile regular reports reflecting all activities, attendance, and participation.
  • Contribute to manage Club financial resources and expenditures.
  • Maintain the operation of the physical properties and equipment of the Club, including use of facilities to outside groups.
  • Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations to increase the visibility of programs, services, and activities within the Club and the community.
  • Work with Club staff to plan and facilitate special events and programs.
  • Provide leadership to the Club staff using excellent communication, encouragement, frequent feedback, guidance, and instruction.
  • Attend and complete all necessary trainings.
  • Ensure that all necessary reporting is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all requirements for compliance are being adhered to in all program areas.
  • Perform necessary administrative tasks to ensure the Club is organized and runs efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and necessary.

RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain, or interpret guidelines/instructions.
  • External: Maintains contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents, and organizations.

educational Qualifications & skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Must be available 11:00pm – 7:00pm Monday through Friday.

ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical requirements include physical exertion such as lifting, stretching, and bending as well as sitting for prolonged periods of time. May be exposed to sounds and distractions such as children playing, office equipment, various meetings or gatherings taking place.
