Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager. The Technical Project Manager plans, budgets, monitors and reports on the project with project management tools. They are accountable for the quality and deliverables of the project. They accomplish this through an approved variety of methodologies and frameworks. The Senior is a primary lead on medium projects and develops the tactics necessary to complete the project on time and on budget. The Senior guides the project teams through methods that ensure the quality of the deliverables. The Senior is focused on project planning and execution while ensuring overall project quality.

What you will be doing:
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Perform project level financial analysis to determine budget performance
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Oversee, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
What you must have:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Project Management
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business, MIS, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Project Management
  • Knowledge in Systems Analysis and Design
  • Knowledge in Software Development Concepts
  • Knowledge in Networking and Telecommunications Concepts
  • Knowledge in Information Science and Technology Concepts
  • Knowledge in Advanced Project Management Knowledge
  • Knowledge in Basic finance and accounting
  • Knowledge in Business principles and communication
  • Knowledge in Project management specializations and methods, i.e., scheduling, tools, methodologies
  • Critical thinking
  • Interpersonal skills

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Task Organization skills
  • Understand aspects of planning and executing a project.
  • Know how to apply cost, schedule, and performance to team projects
  • Experience: 8-12 years
  • Regularly managed 5 simultaneous large projects
  • Required: Project Management Professional (PMP) (Project Management Institute)
  • Required: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (Scrum Alliance) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) (Scrum.org)
  • Preferred: CompTIA Security+ (Security+) (CompTIA)
  • Preferred: CompTIA Server+ (Server+) (CompTIA)
