Title: Executive Chef

Reports to: Culinary Director and Owner
Salary: Starting base salary up to $130K DOE plus bonus
Benefits: Excellent Insurance Paid by employer
Venue: High end, high volume offsite catering company

One of the largest and most respected catering companies in Los Angeles is in search of an Executive Chef to oversee all food production, work the high-profile parties and R&D all new menus and presentations.
Catering to the entertainment industry, corporate dining as well as private parties (weddings etc), the next Chef must have a strong background with catering and overseeing a large staff doing multiple events daily. You must have worked with high volume (events and parties of up to 3000 people and more) and enjoy working the parties as well. Your main responsibility will be overseeing all of the event chefs, production in the large, state of the art kitchen but there will be times you need to be at the events.

Another main component of this position is the R&D on new menu items and innovative presentations with the Culinary Director and Owner. You must have a background working with quality food and elite clientele. You will be interacting with the clients so its important that this Chef is articulate and professional.

This is a working chef’s position and we are looking for someone that is still passionate about food and teaching/training their staff, from the event and sous chefs to the cooks.

Offering up to $130K starting base salary, very strong bonus potential and amazing health insurance along with future growth in both position and salary.
