Production Operator

SUMMARY

Assist the supervisors in managing the production floor to achieve requirements. Manage data using the production boards, ensure the floor is following Minth’s processes and policies, and require compliance with 6S standards. Ensure that all direct staff complies with the company’s Health and Safety procedures.

Job Description

• Assist Supervisors in achieving their job description duties as listed below, including in a temporary fill-in role:
• Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products, responsible for the quality and product produced within the shift aligned with the company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift, and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the company’s Health and Safety policy.
• Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment
• Assemble and prepare goods for shipment
• Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses
• Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process
• Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders
• Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment, including machinery
• Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations
• Able to quickly switch between high-focus tasks and organize the time and workload to complete multiple tasks.
• Play an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Ensure company resources are used effectively to ensure the best-operating costs.
• Maintaining a high level of timekeeping is of the essence

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Maintain and follow all training requirements
• Understand and follow all quality, safety and environmental processes and procedures
• Follow all recycling programs
• Able to work different hours and shifts as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Use required safety equipment
