The Big Picture
The Mt. Leonard Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church seeking a bi-vocational pastor to shepherd the flock through preaching, leading and pastoral care.
Requirements
The Qualifications
He will meet the qualifications for overseer as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. He will provide kingdom leadership to the members of the church enabling them to focus on the Great Commission, and equipping them to carry out the five functions of the New Testament church: evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and worship. He will subscribe to the Divine origin of the Scriptures and endorse the other elements of the Southern Baptist faith as outlined in the “Baptist Faith and Message” 2000 edition. The Church has a three bedroom partially furnished parsonage available.
