DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee day to day Boat Club operation of the club including but not limited to, explanation of the reservation system to members, handling club member calls with questions or concerns, and overseeing maintenance and repair of the fleet.

2. Supervise and manage Boat Club Sales Associate, giving direction and training employees to the highest standard.

3. Generate revenue for Boat Club by selling memberships in the club to individuals or corporate entities. This will include cold calling, networking, and following up on leads generated through advertising and boat shows.

4. Ensure boats are prepped and ready for member usage prior to arrival; an hourly associate will be available to help with preparation.

5. Ensure that expenses for the day-to-day operation of the club are controlled and kept in line to budget/sales trend.

6. Generating leads through cold calling, networking, and advertising to obtain FBC memberships.

7. Other projects and tasks as determined by direct supervisor to improve the financial performance or operational efficiency of Boat Club.

OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work performed and composed of a variety of different tasks, calling for the use of sound judgment, and compliance with policies and procedures. Must be a self-starter and be able to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and company goals. Assists with a number of projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 3+ years Sales Management experience preferred.

2. Bachelor’s degree in related field desired but not required. 3. Knowledge of all sizes and types of boats, as well as systems on those boats, such as engines, water, generators etc. so as to be able to answer customer questions and concerns when discussing potential sale.

4. Must have a positive attitude.

5. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills.

6. Must be able to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity.

7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Excellent attention to detail.

9. Must be able to pass a background check.

10. Basic water safety skills

11. Must have a positive attitude.

12. Ability to work under pressure.

13. Must be able to work flexible hours, including but not limited to weekends and holidays based on the needs of the property.

14. General accounting knowledge and basic understanding of financial statements
