A Manufacturer in Murphysboro, IL is hiring a Staff Accountant.
$55K-65K salary depending on experience.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly & annual financial close
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks including cash posting, collection, etc.
- Assist with the annual audit as needed
- Auditing expense reports
- Assist with set up of AP automation initiatives
- Other responsibilities as needed
- Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures always. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
Education / Experience / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing preferred
- Workflow implementation/experience preferred
- ERP experience
- Expensify experience preferred
