Welding Instructor

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welding Instructor to join our team at our facility located in Conroe, TX, 77303. As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for training and instructing individuals in various welding techniques and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment and a passion for teaching others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive instruction on welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc.
• Teach students how to operate and maintain welding equipment such as welders and manual grinders.
• Provide guidance on reading and interpreting blueprints for welding projects.
• Demonstrate proper welding setups for production and ensure students understand safety protocols.
• Incorporate ERP software and basic computer skills into the training curriculum.
• Assist students in obtaining necessary certifications, such as ISO 9001 and ITAR registration.
• Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively convey welding concepts and provide feedback to students.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the welding training program.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various welding equipment including robotic welders, laser welders, MIG welders, TIG welders, stick welders, and flux-cored arc welders.
• Welding Certifications (CWI, etc.) and Education
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for welding projects.
• Familiarity with ERP software and basic computer skills.
• Experience with ISO 9001 certification and ITAR registration.
• Strong welding setups for production knowledge and expertise.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively teach and provide feedback to students.
