Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Technician for a full-time job opportunity in Polkton, NC. In this position your primary job is to ensure the products and services meet corporate, industry, and government standards.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Technician for a full-time job opportunity in Polkton, NC. In this position your primary job is to ensure the products and services meet corporate, industry, and government standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts inspections to ensure zero quality escapes.
- Obtains and understands customer specifications.
- Communicates with customers when needed.
- Completes First Article Inspection of parts for specialized area(s).
- Point-of-contact when quality-related issues arise on the shop floor.
- Develops and implements quality-related documents like inspection sheets, control plans, PFMEA, etc.
- Completes PPAP documentation when needed. Initials, and takes part in, Continual Improvement projects/activities with focus areas.
- Enters NC reports when issues are found.
- Wears required PPE and works safely.
- Other duties assigned.
- May be needed to work varying hours and overtime.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Able to multitask.
- Follow verbal and written instructions and directions.
- Work well with others.
- Able to work in a production type environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Effective communication skills.
