Job Description
Position:This position is a ICU RN position, working 7p-7a and 12 hour shifts. Holiday and weekend hours are also 12-hour shifts. This position is 72 hours per pay period. The applicant will be cross-trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units. Qualifications:
- Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Associate degree or diploma in Nursing acceptable, Baccalaureate degree preferred
- Maintains all required qualifications for areas assigned
- Current BLS Certification required.
- 1-2 years Med/Surg experience in acute care setting required.
- Critical care experience preferred
- Satisfactory completion of Basic Electrocardiogram (ECG) Course OR successful completion of ECG Interpretation competency assessment (“Test out”)
Skill and Ability:
- Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices.
- Physically able to perform the functions of the position.
- One year medical-surgical experience preferred
- Critical Care experience preferred
- Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) encouraged
- Stroke Certification within two years
- All other duties assigned
