Jr. Tribal Facilities Maintenance Worker

The ideal candidate for this position must have experience working in a facilities/maintenance department. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Regular inspections of facilities are conducted to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Working on preventative maintenance.
• Completing maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection reports accurately and promptly.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs.
• Repairing and maintaining building fixtures and equipment.
• Working with senior engineers to learn how to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.

The candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Work Experience

At least two years of work experience in facility maintenance, a strong track record of completing work projects and work order requests on time, and basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, metal fabrication, and heavy equipment operation.

Education Requirements/Licenses & Certification

Vocational training in facilities maintenance, HVAC or plumbing or related technical field (Preferred)

Must have a valid driver's license.
