Citrus Counseling Services-Family Service Agency of San Bernardino (CCS-FSASB) is a registered non-profit organization that has been providing comprehensive mental health services throughout the Inland Empire since 1978. We have over 50 employees that provide professional, compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to meet the needs in our community. In addition to providing individual, couples, and family counseling, we have specialized programs for young children, at-risk youth, and victims of crime. Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health services and bridge clients to community services.
Summary
CCS is looking for a temporary, part-time, Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide services at our Adelanto, CA location. The primary role of the Mental Health Therapist is to provide professional therapeutic behavioral health services to individuals and groups of all ages and demographic backgrounds. The Mental Health Therapist will collaboratively participate in staff meetings and trainings, perform necessary administrative tasks, and participate in CCS community relations efforts.
Duration: 3-4 months (with possibility of extension)
This position is classified as temporary and not eligible for benefits.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Commit to CCS’s vision and mission.
- Consistently meet individualized clinical service hour goals.
- Comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidential clinical records in keeping with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards and practices of his/her primary professional discipline.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other team building activities.
- Participate in community events as needed.
- Perform administrative, development, and other organizational tasks as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Ability to work cooperatively with team members.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health discipline.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
- Licensed to provide services in the state of California.
- Registered and in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Insurable for Professional and General Liability insurance.
- Minimum of two years post-degree clinical experience.
