Bartender

Your role as a Bartender at Angelenas Ristorante Italiano is extremely important to our success. Your speed and efficiency are imperative to the smooth operation of the bar and satisfaction of our guests. It is our goal to train you extensively on how to perform your job, and to provide you with the necessary tools and equipment to complete your daily duties.

What you’ll be doing to make an impact at GSRs:

• Meeting quality standards in the preparation and presentation of cocktails by adhering to portion standards and demonstrating cost awareness.
• Adhering to laws and company policy pertaining to the service of alcohol.
• Following the standards of personal cleanliness and proper uniform, displaying attentive, cordial, and confident disposition.
• Performing set-up and side-work duties in an efficient, timely manner while adhering to sanitation standards and keeping the bar organized.
• Performing tasks such as: completing bar requisitions and cash reports, ensuring proper payment, cash handling, operating and maintaining bar equipment, and more.
• Promoting sales of food and beverages through product knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
• Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• 1-2 years of bartending experience preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to:
  1. Standing and walking during an entire shift, averaging to 8 hours per shift.
  2. Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, shaking, stirring, pouring, and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds in weight.
  3. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight on a regular basis.
• A team player’s mentality with good communication skills and the ability to stay positive.
