PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. DESK DEALS
a. MOST IMPORTANT, YOU ARE HERE TO HELP SALES STAFF PUT DEALS TOGETHER
b. TURNOVERS, WHETHER IN THE SHOWROOM OR OVER THE PHONE, ENSURE A
MANAGER TURNOVER TO HELP

2. ENSURE FOLLOW-UP WITH ALL PROSPECTS WHO VISIT DEALERSHIP (MANAGE DESK LOG, HOTS,
APPOINTMENTS)
3. MAINTAIN VEHICLES ON LOT- ORGANIZATION, SNOW REMOVAL, ETC.
4. BE HELPFUL- JUST BECAUSE YOU MANAGE A SPECIFIC DEPARTMENT DOESN’T MEAN YOU CAN’T
HELP OUT WITH OTHERS. PAY IS DETERMINED BY WHAT ALL DEPARTMENTS ACCOMPLISH
TOGETHER
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. MANAGE INDIVIDUAL SALES TEAM
a. CONDUCT A WEEKLY 1-ON-1
b. CONDUCT WEEKLY TEAM MEETINGS
c. ENSURE PROPER TRAINING CERTIFICATION IS COMPLETE & CSI STANDARDS ARE MET
d. MONTHLY TRACKING & PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
2. MANAGE CSI
a. ENSURE SALES CSI STANDARDS ARE MET
b. FOLLOW-UP WITH NEW VEHICLE CUSTOMERS AFTER SALES BY PHONE
c. TRAIN STAFF VIA 1-ON-1 AND FRIDAY MEETINGS REGARDING CSI AS NECESSARY

SCHEDULE/HOURS
REGULAR SALES MANAGER’S HOURS 8-5:30, 2-3 EVENINGS PER WEEK AS DETERMINED BY GSM, 1 DAY
OFF PER WEEK, AT LEAST 1 SATURDAY OFF PER MONTH
EXAMPLE DAILY CHECKLIST OF DUTIES:
1. MORNING SALES MANAGER DOC MEETING AT 8AM
2. REVIEW HOTS, APPOINTMENTS, PENDERS WITH RESPECTIVE SALES STAFF
3. REVIEW LEASE ACTIVITY- UPCOMING LEASE TERMINATIONS, APPOINTMENTS FOR LEASE TURN-
INS/RE-LEASES, ETC
4. LOOK AT CSI SURVEYS DAILY AND FIND CSI IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
5. CONDUCT 1-ON1’S WITH TEAM MEMBERS
