Legacy Building Solutions, located in mid-Minnesota, is the leader in designing, manufacturing, and installing fabric structures. We provide innovative and custom-designed buildings for various industries including military, sports and recreation, aviation, and municipalities. Legacy is customer-centric and focused on providing innovative solutions at the highest level of service.


We seek a dynamic and motivated outside Sales and Design Consultant for the Energy and Oil & Gas sector to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be results-oriented, efficient, and proactive to ensure customer satisfaction. As a key member of our sales force, he/she will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospect potential customers, and conduct cold calls, emails, networking events, and in-person visits to initiate contact.
  • Understand a client’s needs, effectively communicate, and provide them with detailed proposals/ quotes and technical information related to any requests.
  • Work cross-functionally to facilitate the flow of information, align sales strategies, and share insights.
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and best practices.
  • Travel within the market area is expected and as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven and professional sales experience, preferably in the energy sector or oilfield services.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree is desirable but not essential.
  • Results-oriented with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Thorough attention to detail; the ability to prioritize and multitask; be proactive and mindful of deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sense of humility with an aptitude for learning and growing required.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of CRM systems; Sales Force a plus but not required.
