Location: 1244 NW Galveston Ave.

Starting Wage: $18 / hr with tips. 30 to 40+ hours weekly.

Job Description: As a Line Cook at Dump City Dumplings, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high standards of our culinary offerings. You will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and execute a variety of menu items, consistently delivering exceptional quality and flavor. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dumplings, appetizers, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Prepping large amounts of hand rolled wontons.
• Packaging and finishing wholesale orders for final delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as adhering to operational checklists accordingly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely execution of orders during busy service periods.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
