Show Night Maintenance Staff

Seasonal 20-30 hours a week

April-December

Starting at $16.00/hour- based on experience

We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility during show nights of our Broadway season. Duties will be performed at night and usually take place between the window of 6:00pm to midnight.

In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work, able to lift heavy objects, stand and walk for longer periods of time. You must be willing to work outside in the elements of the seasons.

Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform minor fixes.
  • Maintain plaza grounds, including collecting trash, cleaning spills etc.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of main amphitheater
  • Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
  • Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs
  • Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems
  • Test the functionality of the facility's safety systems
  • Collaborate with a team of workers such as House Managers, Food Services Managers, Gift Gallery Managers, Production Managers, Concessions workers etc..
  • Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

Maintenance Worker Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is ideal
  • Experience working with tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • General passion for creative problem-solving
  • Enjoy being around and interacting with people
