Experienced Line Cooks $20 / Hr at Java Kai Kapaa

Experienced line cook needed for busy coffee shop in downtown Kapaa. Weekends are a must!!!

Great staff and quirky environment with great regulars.

Should be able to work clean and smooth when things get crazy.

Ideally want someone that doesn't need to be watched over and can handle their sh*t.

Someone who has a high sense of responsibility, sense of urgency, detail oriented, good work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and a team player, career mind set, with a passion for food.

Job duties include:

• Line cook help where needed

• Prepping, stocking stations for service

• Receiving food orders/other orders and organizing

• Kitchen prep and organizing walk in

• Housekeeping: closing all stations 

Ideal candidates will have:

• At least 2 year of experience in the hospitality business

• Warm, welcoming and friendly demeanor

• Ability to work with a sense of urgency

• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure while working in a high-volume establishment.

• Willingness to learn

• Team player

Flexible Scheduling: breakfast + lunch shifts available
