SERVPRO Mitigation Technician

This position offers the following:


The candidate with the qualities listed above should expect a starting hourly pay of $16.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on their level of industry experience and credentials.

Job Description:


The ideal candidate will understand the importance of being humble, honest, and customer service oriented as our main task each day is to assist customers who may be experiencing an accidental occurrence and are depending on us to make things right once again. Our candidate should be dependable and wont mind being asked to respond quickly after hours in the event of an emergency in a customers home or business. Our team routinely has overtime each week as our business is built on unpredictable occurrences taking place in our community and our ability to quickly respond and stabilize the situation for customers which entrust us to handle same.

Successfully completing our daily tasks requires team members to work diligently, remain organized in their approach, have good communication skills and have the aptitude for maintaining good job documentation. We always look to promote from within so brining on candidates that have the potential and desire to grow as time passes is important to us.

Many of our top employees come to us with some background in construction which typically is helpful to them as they complete daily tasks. The applicant should have a valid drivers license. We provide company vehicles but need our team members to safely drive them once they progress into leadership positions.

Responsibilities:


Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance
Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
Set up staging area and equipment for each project
Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
Perform production processes following SERVPRO production guidelines per work order
Inventory and load work vehicles with equipment, products and supplies needed for each project
Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly
Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines

Qualifications:


Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred but we are also drawn to driven individuals with a high ceiling
High School diploma/GED
Effective oral communications
IICRC certifications preferred
Ability to travel locally and out of state when we are asked to assist with major weather events.
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:


Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
We do work with industry chemical products used in the remediation and mitigation of residential and commercial structures.
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
