We are looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to join our Self Perform Group based in Northern Michigan. Working directly with Sr. Management, the ideal candidate will have complete command of the self-performing contractor process from start to finish. We are looking for team-oriented individuals able to estimate and assemble awarded contracts to the project team and/or manage the project through construction and closeout. Must have a high sensitivity to the Client’s needs, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all involved parties (Client, A/E, contractors and other team members.) The individual in this role must be self-motivated and eager to expand our growing customer base. This will require forging new relationships and demonstrating creativity in finding new opportunities.
We request a minimum of 5 years of experience as a PM and/or Estimator of carpentry/general trades construction projects ranging from $10 thousand to $10 million. Recent experience in K-12, higher education, healthcare, local government, tenant build out preferred. A 4-year college degree preferred but commiserate experience will be considered. Candidate should also possess OSHA 30 certification or plan to attain this certification within 60 days of employment. Familiarity with Prolog, PlanGrid, Textura, and Edge software is considered a plus.
This role will require the individual to be able to “hit the ground running.” CCS will provide initial procedural training and offer continuous learning opportunities. We encourage all team members to find additional training opportunities to expand their knowledge and capabilities.

Project Manager / Estimator – Position Description
(Estimating)
· Pursue leads and opportunities
· Receive & assemble request for proposal/bid/quote
· Plan estimate & perform estimate take off
· Break out sub-contracted items and assemble bid packages
· Break out material items/specialty vendor items and send out for pricing
· Assemble bid for review and submission to client
· Transition from estimate to project upon award
(Project Management)
· Review estimate/budget and create project plan
· Open project & follow project plan process
· Administer purchase orders & sub contracts
· Ensure all project documents are submitted & maintained from project opening through close out
· Manage scheduling for materials & installations
· Oversee all construction process & activities and ensure all reporting is being completed
· Administer all financial aspects of the project, including initial budget submission to the customer, all progress billings (via accounting), complete change management including change proposals, budget modifications, change order tracking, monthly reporting
· Administer all quality assurance & documentation
· Administer all safety planning, monitoring & reporting
· Administer all production tracking
· Maintain client relations
· Able to manage $5-10 million in annual revenue
· Able to manage multiple projects
