Job Description
Synology America Corp is looking for highly proactive and dynamic Account Managers in their LATAM
sales team. All AMs will share common responsibilities centered around growing Synology’s business
through product evangelism, educating existing accounts, and proactively seeking out and starting
conversations with new accounts.
This is NOT a commissioned based role. Your success as an AM will be measured by quantity and quality
of reciprocated engagement.
As an Account Manager you will:
Become a subject matter expert on Synology hardware and software
Provide technical consultation to LATAM customers
Recruit, develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners
Search for opportunities where Synology can deliver value – then engage and tactfully position a
solution
Demonstrate Synology software for an audience
Design and spec deployments for your accounts individually
Be able to plan, execute, present and follow up on virtual and in person events across LATAM
Travel to customer and partner sites as needed
Desired Skills & Experience
Language:
Spanish & English fluency (exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both
languages)
Education:
Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college is required
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university is preferred
Experience:
Minimum two years of relevant experience in the tech industry
Experience working with data storage, networking, or security is a plus
Firm understanding of computer hardware components and a basic understanding of NAS
Ability to manage one’s time and projects with minimal oversight
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience using Salesforce is a plus
