This position is located in New Roads, LA
We are a family business looking for a high energy manager with the ability to build, lead and motivate a top sales force. We are also looking for an enthusiastic individual with a proven & winning track record as a sales manager. You must be a proven leader with Sales Management or Assistant Sales Manger experience.

Responsibilities:
Work with the General Manager to establish monthly goals
Meet monthly objectives for sales volume and gross profit
Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of the sales team
Direct and schedule the activities/ staffing of the sales department team
Maintain teamwork throughout the sales, delivery, and follow-up process
Provide effective communication throughout the sales department as well as interdepartmentally
Work with the sales team on programs that will increase the vehicle gross profit and finance penetration
Establish and maintain standards for the delivery of vehicles to customers
Review inventory to ensure the proper mix of stock
Participate in merchandising and advertising efforts for the sales department
Maintain an accurate daily log that reflects all sales activities in the dealership
Participate in daily sales meetings
Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policy and procedures
Job Requirements
Must have at least 2-5 years of successful experience in automotive sales (new or used) or equivalent sales industry
Proven coaching, training, and mentoring and multi-tasking skills
High level of commitment to customer service
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Self-motivated enthusiastic/career oriented presence in a team environment
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
