PK Associates’ Denver Office drafting/modeling team is looking for a driven REVIT and CAD operator to join our dynamic and diverse team to assist with the production of structural construction drawings. Our drafting team works hand in hand with our engineering team to ensure that the best possible construction documents are created for our clients.

The REVIT and CAD operator will create Structural REVIT and CAD details that are added to the construction documents as well as incorporate changes to the current documents under the supervision of our Structural Engineers and senior-level REVIT / CAD team members.

Candidate must be strongly motivated, deadline-oriented, and comfortable with operating in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Apply excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Utilize REVIT efficiently and accurately to create structural REVIT details for a variety of building types.

  • Effectively interact with engineering staff along with the project architect(s) throughout a project’s development

  • Utilize strong time management skills, including organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of relevant professional experience in the architectural/structural field

  • 1-5 years of experience utilizing REVIT/AutoCAD

  • Familiarity with REVIT setups (i.e. project templates, view templates, families, and worksets)

  • General understanding of structural construction materials (i.e. steel, concrete, wood, etc.)

  • Ability to shift focus as project deadlines change

  • Basic understanding of print reading and construction document production

  • Technical training/education is a plus but not required
