Job Description
This is a 4 day a week Monday-Thursday Truck Loading Position. On occasions you could support other work cells , Cutting Glass, Insulating Glass Line, or Tempering Line in a hybrid position capacity. Having forklift operator experience is a plus. Must be able to lift and handle 50+ LBS of glass.
Second shift at WGP is 4, 10 hour days from 2:20PM - 12:50AM, with seasonal & occasional overtime. Two paid breaks with a 30min unpaid lunch

The Trucks you will be loading consists of the Following:
Ford Transit 350 (Non-CDL)
16' GMC Tarp Side Custom Glass Body (Non-CDL)
20' Peterbilt Straight Box Truck (Non-CDL)
26' Freightliner Custom Glass Body (CDL)
26' International Custom Glass Body (CDL)
28' International Straight Box Truck (CDL)
24' Freightliner Flatbed w/Moffett (Piggyback - CDL)

Responsibilities:
Safely Load and Secure Glass on our trucks
Wear All Company required PPE
Able to safely move a truck in our parking lot if needed (No road driving)
Help customers with pick up order 50 - 75 lbs lifts (2:20-5pm)
Maintaining proper paperwork, Tracking product pick-up, delivery location, and pack slips for each shipment & verifying quantities.
Qualifications:
- Teamwork and Communication: Working collaboratively with night shift crews to efficiently load trucks and communicate any potential issues.
Personable with Customers (Pickups)
Ability to Follow Instructions: Precisely following established procedures for safe handling and securement of fragile glass products during loading.
Ability to handle physical workload, repetitive 50 - 75lbs lifts.
Strong work ethic: Demonstrating consistent attendance and the ability to manage time effectively to meet loading deadlines during the night shift.
We take Huge Pieces of glass and make smaller ones out of them.
