Utility Trailer - Fleet Maintenance in Rogers, MN is seeking hard-working, motivated individuals with previous experience (preferred) as a Trailer Mechanic/technician, or with heavy-duty / tractor-trailer experience. Our Utility Trailer Fleet Maintenance facility handles repairs ranging from preventive maintenance inspections, electrical systems, brake and ABS systems, and major body/structure repairs. Our customer is a Fortune 500 fleet and we do it ALL to keep them on the road. Providing a high level of customer service requires dedicated and skilled technicians who understand that maximum up-time for their fleet of dry van package trailers, dollies, and yard switchers is critical to their success. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commitment to Safety and Service Excellence.

Perform accurate and complete vehicle inspections (DOT, PM)

Perform air brake diagnostics, repairs, and inspections.

Perform ABS diagnostics and repairs utilizing a laptop diagnostic system

Perform floor, roof, door, and side panel repairs

Perform minor and major accident repairs

Perform electrical systems diagnostics and repairs

Perform air brake diagnostics and repairs

Perform wheel end repairs and adjustments

Perform aluminum and steel welding

Perform general repairs on trailer and trailer dollies

Perform PM maintenance accurately and efficiently

Perform PM maintenance and repairs on Yard Spotters (Ottawa)

Perform diagnostics on Cummins electronic engines with a laptop

Responsible for adhering to all warranty policies and procedures

Ability to use electronic technical manuals and resources for diagnostics and repair

Provide accurate documentation on repair orders

WE'LL TRAIN YOU:

Applicant must be capable of making quality repairs to suspension, lighting /electrical system, air brake and ABS systems, trailer dollies, and trailer body/structure and doors on trailer, dollies, and yard switcher tractors. Tech will also perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a fleet of Yard Spotters with Cummins electronic diesel engines. The tech must also possess the skills to perform accurate and complete preventive maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance PM Services. Pay to match experience and monthly performance bonus.
