JOB TYPE: Full Time position with eligibility for full benefits after 90 days.

LOCATION: These positions will be on-site in southern California; no relocation assistance is available for this position.

COMPENSATION: $50 + per hour/Non-Exempt position.

POSITION SUMMARY: As the Field Service Supervisor, you will be overseeing Arborists inspecting trees, flagging hazardous trees, and providing subject matter expert recommendations on tree management. Additionally, you will be responsible for Inspectors and their Right of Way work. Your customer service skills will need to be exceptional.

What you will be responsible for: (Disclaimer: The lists below are not all inclusive)

• Ensure SAFETY protocols are always followed.
• Supervise reporting and scheduling of tree inspections.
• Submit reports to customers to identify, flag, and communicate on all hazardous trees.
• Submit reports for all recommendations on tree management.
• Supervise and coordinate daily vegetation operations.
• Review details and information on vegetation management reports.
• Support performance for all other applicable duties to meet project deadlines and goals.
• Provide Training and implement Quality Control measures where appropriate based on Arborists skill level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You must have the following: (Minimum)

• Authorized to work in the US.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Must have a clean driving record.
• TRAQ certified, Utility Specialist, OSHA 30.

• Strong organizational/time management skills.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written with attention to detail.
• Must be proficient in using technology including cell phone, tablet, apps, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to Travel, you should expect to travel to job sites regularly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and in inclement weather.
• Ability to work long hours on occasion and on your feet for 40+ hours a week.
• Ability to respond to public concerns and questions about work.
• Ability to respond and answer Contractor’s questions and concerns about work specifications and requirements.
• Pro-Actively promote Safety & Maintain a Safe Work Environment.

If you have the following it is a big plus: (Preferred)

• 5 -7 years of related Right of Way Maintenance.
