Job Title: NOC Technician

Location: Castle Rock, CO

Pay Range: $20 to $30 an hour

 

What’s the Job?

  1. Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize network monitoring, outage handling, phone calls, ticket updates, and emails.

  2. Takes ownership of issues to resolution. Takes ownership of training needs and actively seeks training opportunities.

  3. Established LAN troubleshooting skills and familiarity with maintaining and troubleshooting home/customer networks.

  4. Troubleshooting issues from physical connectivity to connectivity across the internet over multiple technologies.

  5. Ability to interpret technical specifications to troubleshoot the network.

  6. Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  7. Proficient writing and communication skills appropriate for customer facing notifications to technical assessments for engineering.

  8. Ability to work independently with vendors to resolve issues.

  9. Ability to work off hours and perform on-call duties, overnights, and weekends a possibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and overall quality.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to think constructively in crisis situations.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Proficiency with using Google Chrome, Firefox, or MS Edge and can type at least 40 WPM.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of related NOC experience.

  • Experience in a wireless network.

  • Network +, JNCIA, CCNA.

  • Test and Turn Up Experience.

  • Metasolv/Inventory Management software experience.

  • ServiceNow/Remedy ticketing experience.

Must Haves:

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and overall quality.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to think constructively in crisis situations.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
