What We’re Looking For: 

The Carrier Sales Representative acts as a support partner by helping to match carriers with available loads in their transport lanes and teaching carriers to assign and manage their loads independently. The Carrier Sales Representative will work towards increasing the carrier automation, spawning higher carrier self-service levels while decreasing freight acceptance time and lessening the need for human intervention or resources to move greater volumes of freight. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are followed at all times.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Communicate with carriers through phone and text to assign available loads that match their route preferences. 

  • Handles inbound calls and assists carriers with dispatching and other inquiries.

  • Provides site demos and detailed service expectations.

  • Encourages and teaches CarsArrive self-service tools to carriers.

  • Solicits feedback from carriers to better improve services and processes.

  • Helps match prospective carriers with high-priority loads to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Works closely with Sales and Customer Service Teams to provide feedback and analysis.

  • Properly identifies VIP/Exception Loads.

  • Finds new carriers to solicit and to join CarsArrive Marketplace.

  • Works closely with Carrier Operations Director, Sales Director, and Pricing Manager to proactively strategize daily freight movement. 

Must Have’s: 

  • High School diploma, Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred.  

  • Two years of experience in Sales or Logistics experience required with automotive experience preferred. 

  • General automotive knowledge is required. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience with Google applications. 

  • Conflict resolution and customer service skills required.  

  • Ability to handle heavy phone call volumes.

  • Must exhibit strong team player attributes with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
