ADON - Assistant Director of Nursing

Description:St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As an ADON, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of care is provided to our residents.
*Responsibilities:*

* Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department and ensuring that all nursing staff are providing high-quality care to our residents.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all residents' needs are met.
* Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote quality resident care.
* Ensure that all nursing staff are properly trained and educated on the latest nursing practices and techniques.
* Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff and provide feedback as needed.
* Ensure that all nursing documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.

*Qualifications:*

* Must be a registered nurse (RN) with a current license in the state of New Hampshire.
* Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing leadership role.
* Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must have strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Must be able to work collaboratively with other departments.
* Must have a strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to nursing care.

Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license from the State of New Hampshire and be in good standing with the NH Board of Nursing
* Must have at least two years’ experience as a supervisor in a healthcare facility, preferably in a long-term care setting
* Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures that pertain to long-term care
* Must be CPR/BCLS and IV certified

Pay: $78,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
