Join the Wealth Platform Integration, Data and Artificial Intelligence team and help us leverage our vast network of knowledge assets to deliver personalized, quality information at the point of need. As the Director of Knowledge Management Governance, you’ll lead the design and implementation of the people, processes and technology needed to effectively govern our knowledge assets.
​​​​​​​You will lead teams both directly and indirectly through matrixed leadership structure to define, implement, and champion a governance process and standards that addresses all of Edward Jones's knowledge assets and the contributor community across all content platforms which are capturing and sharing knowledge so that the knowledge assets are appropriately trusted, protected, accessible and understood. This includes:

  • Establishing and leading governing bodies and governance processes for knowledge assets
  • Defining and implement knowledge and content standards for Edward Jones
  • Driving the adoption and compliance with knowledge and content standards through effective communication and change management
  • Monitoring and reporting on the quality of knowledge assets, the platforms managing them and adherence to standards through the establishment and regular reporting of KPIs
  • Serving as the centralized point of review and approval for any new content platforms and their role in the Knowledge Management ecosystem
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with across our knowledge management ecosystem including knowledge platform owners, content creators, and knowledge delivery teams to champion delivery of our knowledge powered ambition
  • Partnering with other key governance leaders and functions as part of Edward Jones' Enterprise Information Governance ecosystem – including Data governance, Analytics governance, Security, Privacy, and Records Management
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, STEM or business-related field required
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience directly related to Wealth Management / Financial Services industry, Consulting, functional and/or technical area of expertise with 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Comprehensive and deep subject matter expertise in knowledge management and content management governance
  • Display a broad understanding of knowledge management and content management technologies and the emergence of AI as a strategic capability.
  • Understanding and experience with knowledge management, content management and governance platforms and technologies
  • Proven leadership success in a large, matrixed organization with the ability to provide direction, create a strong team environment and cultivate talent.
  • Empathetic leader with exceptional emotional intelligence
  • Executive level communication skills and judgement including written, active listening, public speaking, and facilitation.
  • Highly effective building networks and partnerships; ability to interact with integrity and a high degree of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.
  • Proven success in leading/sponsoring large initiatives or programs, including solid process and project management skills, with a focus on cross functional stakeholder management and communication.
  • Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire
