Established medical equipment manufacturer is growing and adding an experienced Sales Director to their team in Brea, CA.
In this crucial role, you will oversee a small sales team. You and your team will strategize to create and implement a plan to enhance market presence and increase market share of the healthcare or medical sectors in the US .
Main responsibilities:
- Will establish and oversee the distribution channels and build relationships with business partners, prioritizing experience in Post Acute Care and Acute Care.
- Frequently participate in contract negotiations with distribution partners and drive revenue growth initiatives.
- Keep up to date on industry trends while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Monitor sales performance and identify potential risks.
REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires a highly motivated individual who holds themself and their team to high standards including:
- 10+ years of experience in business development /sales management of “Medical Support Surface” / “Pressure Relief” products in the U.S.
- 5 + years of related working experience with Span America, Invacare, Blue Chip, Kap Medical, Dynarex Corporation, Hill-Rom, or Arjo.
- Able to gain valuable insight based on existing in depth understanding of the medical and healthcare industry
- Successful experience in developing channels and businesses from start to finish.
- Ability to identify business needs and fulfill ambitious goals.
- Outstanding multi-tasking and people skills.
- Articulate communication skills (both verbal & written)
- Resourceful in utilizing your existing personal network to build and maintain strong relationships with potential business partners.
Position also eligible for bonus based on company performance.
