Talento Search Group has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in the Westmont, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position and the pay range is $30-35 per hour, depending on experience.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
* Perform preventive maintenance on machinery
* Use PLC Ladder Logic to troubleshoot equipment
* Perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
*Experience Needed:*
* At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
* A Technical Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred
* Experience diagnosing PLC issues including an input/output board
* Experience with wiring schematics and electrical panels
* Mechanical experience including gearboxes, belts, conveyors, and machine rebuilds
* Experience with welding and fabrication is preferred
* Electrical experience including power transfers, wiring motors, changing motor starters, fuses, and general electrical repairs
* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
* Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance
* Utilization of CMMS maintenance programs
