Overview:
Primary responsibility is to serve as a resource in the continuum of surgical care that includes clinic preoperative preparation, pre-surgical testing, day of service preoperative preparation, intraoperative care and post-operative surgical care that reflects clinical excellence and Mercy values. Will collaborate with surgeons, clinic co-workers, perioperative co-workers and leaders, and inpatient nursing co-workers to identify opportunities for improvement in the continuum of surgical care and assist in development of processes to meet the Organizations dimensions of excellence and Mercy experience.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years intraoperative experience.
- Preferred Experience: 5 years Cardiac experience.
- Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- License: current RN license in our state
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
- Preferred Certification/Registration: CNOR preferred.
