Job Title: Field Safety Coordinator Location: Clinton County, NY Salary: $80,000-$90,000 Industry: Civil Engineering The Candidate: Are you a Safety Coordinator with experience in the heavy civil engineering industry, and are looking for your next move? This could be the position for you! The Company: Our client is a construction corporation in the New York area in the submarine utilities and heavy civil engineering market. This is an opportunity you won't want to miss! Responsibilities: Conduct site safety audits and oversee necessary safety training for staff, maintaining records. Investigate accidents/near misses, including root cause analysis, and address identified hazards. Manage safety supplies, assets, and equipment distribution, ensuring compliance with regulations. Facilitate orientation of new employees and uphold qualification requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for accident/incident reporting and communication with headquarters. Review weekly toolbox talks, lead morning start-up meetings, and visit job sites as required to ensure needs are met. Requirements: 3+ year's experience in construction field safety. Must have a clean valid driver's license. Experience in various aspects of heavy civil construction.
