Job DescriptionCompany Description
A large well-known agricultural products company is seeking a Production Foreman. The pay range is 50k - 75k DOE. This is a 2nd shift position 3:15pm to 12:15am with OT. Train on 1st shift for 6 months. Manage 25-30 people. Need to have a production management background! This is a great opportunity! Be the first to apply!
Job Duties:
- Able to make decisions and prioritize based on production needs.
- knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Knowledge of BPM or UPM (bags per minute, units per minute)
- Able to lead a crew of 25-30 people
- Clear communication with supervisor and Manager on direction
- Ability to handle associates that may be under pressure or stress.
- creating standards and processes, teaching these processes to new and temporary associates.
- computer knowledge
- shift staffing - able to cross train and move people around as needed to keep production running.
- Safety advocate - enforce safety policies and procedures, train associates on proper safety procedures.
- Quality - enforce quality policies and procedures, train associates on proper quality procedures.
- overtime as needed to include Saturdays during the season.
- Knowledge of machine operations, downtime, preventative maintenance.
