You could work onsite as a Senior Project Manager by joining our local client's existing team. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Delta, Ohio area. As Senior Project Manager, you could manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. This position must ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders, because it serves as a key member of the team. Another requirement for this position is to be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. Your responsibilities
- Understand and handle project interdependencies
- Leverage the project team talent by assigning people to tasks accordingly
- Arrange project priorities with strategies/objectives
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively
- Develop and execute on complex project plans and key milestones
- Manage cross functional projects across multiple systems or functions- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of education and work experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people
- Prior experience leading Agile delivery teams, projects and programs
- Skilled in leading medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects
- Technical experience including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.) and JIRA or similar application
- Experience managing complex cross-functional and technology projects
- Must have superb stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the organization
