Job Description
Expand your professional career as an HR Generalist - Labor Relations at our client in Richburg, SC. As an HR Generalist- Labor Relations, you will advise, counsel, and support Business Center team members and managers regarding employee performance, attendance, behavioral issues, and interpretation and application of company policies, procedures, and guidelines. You will monitor and oversee adhere to HR, State, Federal, and Corporate compliance rules and regulations. This is a direct-hire opportunity with openings on 1st and 2nd shifts.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Psychology, or other relevant field of study
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a manufacturing facility (investigations, recruitment, projects)
  • Thorough knowledge of conducting workplace investigations and behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • HRIS, recruiting, or Applicant Tracking or Performance Management Systems proficiency
  • PHR or SPHR (preferred)
  • Knowledge of employment law and Human Resources best practices obtained through experience
  • Ability to serve in a support role using influential leadership skills to mentor and coach
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality regarding employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management actions
  • Strong analytical, data collection, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, coaching, and presentation)
  • Ability to build professional, effective relationships with business team members
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization while exercising good judgment
  • Highly organized, results-driven, with the ability to multitask
  • Effective project management skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute talent initiatives that improve overall business performance for the assigned business function
  • Partner with functions to deliver initiatives such as performance reviews, pay planning, succession planning, employee experience survey action planning, benefits enrollment, change management, etc.
  • Provide tactical support to frontline managers
  • Counsel management regarding company programs, processes, and policies
  • Partner with managers on performance concerns
  • Provide coaching and assist with documentation where necessary
  • Partner with managers to assess talent and create development plans
  • Serve as point of contact for employee questions and complaints about policy, performance management, etc.
  • Conduct investigations related to employee relations concerns
  • Assist with recruiting and staffing projects
  • Conduct employee exist interviews and track the root cause for voluntary separations
  • Use data to create retention plans for designated business units
  • Work with the broader HR team to develop, deliver, and coordinate training onsite initiatives and develop a plan for business-focused needs
  • Perform other tasks as required
