An opportunity is available now!Soliant is now staffing full time Radiation Therapist applicants for a hospital/cancer center in Stanfield, Oregon!

This position is a dayshift, with a requirement to work 40 hours per week.

Shift/Qualification Requirements

  • Shift: Day Shift, 40 hours/wk. No weekends or holidays.
  • Varian, and Elekta experience required.
  • Required Certificates: ARRT, BLS required (AHA).
  • ActiveORState License.
  • 2+ Years of experience required.

Specialty Overview

As a radiation therapist, candidates work under an oncologist as part of a medical team to prepare patients and administer radiation treatments for cancer and some other conditions. They take precise measurements of patients for treatment and may fit them with specialized equipment to be used during sessions.

During treatment, they will monitor the patient's responses, including side effects, and may adjust the schedule or doses of radiation accordingly. They may work at a hospital or at a freestanding cancer treatment center.
