CV Sonographer 
 
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to fill an opening with a well-known Hospital in Abilene, TX.
 
Daily Responsibilities for CV Sonographer:
  • Performs diagnostic cardiovascular examinations per physician orders and according to department protocols. 
  • Generates preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Charts and charges procedures electronically.
  • Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Effectively interacts with patient and significant others, while maintaining professional standards.
  • Interacts with Cardiologists and referring physicians according to applicable departmental policies regarding critical findings.  
  • Interacts with team leaders and managers to discuss significant findings, clinical situations, workflow status and equipment malfunctions. 
  • Often works without direct supervision and must have outstanding work ethics and integrity.
Shift: Flexible shift options
Required Qualifications for CV Sonographer:
  • RDCS or RCS in adult echo or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (completed within 1 year of hire date)
  • Must be registered in either Adult Cardiac or Vascular Sonography by ARDMS or CCI.  
  • Must acquire CMEs as required by professional registries and by national lab accreditation.
