Night Shift Registered Medication Aid position available at SDRC in Stuarts Draft, VA.
We are looking for a committed Registered Medication Aid to join our team at Stuarts Draft Retirement Community, specifically for the night shift. In this essential role, you will be responsible for safely administering medications under the guidance of a licensed nurse, as well as delivering exceptional customer service and personal care to our residents. $18 hourly + shift differential hourly
Responsibilities:- Administer medications safely and effectively under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Supervise direct care staff members to ensure quality patient care
- Be prepared to respond promptly to emergencies as required
- Engage in professional communication with residents, families, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with VA state regulations and company policies at all times
- Provide hands-on assistance with tasks like bathing, toileting, and dressing to residents
- Must have a valid US work authorization to be considered for this position
- Previous experience working in an assisted living facility is required
- Certification as a Registered Medication Aid (RMA) is a must
- Proficiency in medication software and protocols is necessary
- Ability to uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations is essential
